How long should I use a racquetball?

Just curious on how long a ball is good for. We played with one for a long time and didn’t know any difference until we put a new ball in the court. It was a stark difference. What is a “normal” life span for a regular, blue racquetball?

Personally me and my friends use it till its lost or till broke so you should try that too.
I just play til it loses it’s “grip” You can tell. Get a new ball and rub your finger across it and then get an old one and there should be a big differences. I don’t really get news ones according to the amount of time I have it.
