Racquetball?

What is the best or a good all around solid racket for racquetball? I’m in the market for one and would like to have some input with your experiences or perhaps an online list (i.e. top ten rackets etc). I’m a frequent player but always use the gym’s equipment.

I just go to a sporting center and whatever looks durable, yet light to handle I buy.
Of course, I see how think the metal is and how good the plastic parts are.
It all depends on how much you want to spend, but if you are a frequent player, you will definitely want to get your own equipment so that you can focus in more important aspects of the game, rather than equipment. For me, everything that is from $70+ dollars is going to be good. For starters, if you know you are going to be hitting the walls, the floor or another racquet (hopefully not a person! :-P) constantly you might want to get a racquet made of a light weight metal like titanium. Since it is metal they will not break, but bend in a collision. The cheap Ektelon racquets sold in walmart and target are made with metal. But if you already have solid body mechanics and want to get a good all around racquet, a gaphite raquet will suffice. If you are not willing to spend 150~200 dollars on top of the line equipment you should be able to purchase the top of the line models from the past seasons for less than $100. Beware that graphite raquets do crack quite easily if you collide them with another surface/racquet but they play better and are lighter than their metal counterparts. Right now I would recommend the Ektelon DPR2500 Lite, the Head LM and MX series, the EForce Bedlam series and the ProKennex Shadow racquets. Check racquetballwarehouse.com for pricing. Hope it helps.
